I would love to hear from you!
Home in Texas this weekend but (finally, whoops) sharing this shot of my booth space at #cooperyoungfestival last week!! Not pictured: still had my giant wooden boards, a fun rug (kinda visible) and approximately one zillion water bottles and one TRILLION tassels. It was so fun to see so many insta-friends!! The dishtowels sold like hotcakes (is that the phrase? Hotcakes? What is a hotcake? I could google it, I guess. I just didn't know if you knew.) and it was so SO fun when people would say, "you probably don't. But....do you have a city print for _______?" And we could (usually) say HECK YEAH we have a print for HATTIESBURG and toss it at them (gently). Thank you to those of you that said hi!! You are each individually my absolute favorite one ⭐️🌶💞 (huge HUGE probs to my right hand gals @alex_and_the_dra and @lucy_reedv)
I GET TO SEE MY SQUISH BABY NEPHEW IN 48 HOURS AND IM THRILLED. and also my siblings and siblings in law and mom and boyfriend and extended family. BUT MOSTLY THIS LITTLE SQUISH BABY. I'm seriously loving the dish towels- the prints will always have a special place, but these are such an easy and fun gift and they can work in even the designy-est (is that a word?) home. THANK YOU GUYS for loving them so much and for literally buying them out as soon as I put them on sale 😂🙈 they'll be ready and waiting for you this weekend at Cooper young!!! I literally had to have a secret stash and not list it anywhere JUST SO I COULD HAVE SOME FOR THE FESTIVAL 🙈🙈🙈 (and thank you Mindi for this photo!!!)

YAYAYA I agree SOUNDS GREAT ⭐️⭐️⭐️ swing by my booth (across from soul fish) to pick one up!!
Gettin allllllll the Memphis goodies ready for THIS Saturday!! Did you know that i started out designing all of the prints to be wrapping paper? 😂 crazy how things can shift. I had a tiny, somewhat unsuccessful Etsy shop selling handlettered prints and my mom and I decided to have a "trunk show" at her house in San Antonio. I thought a cute, colorful San Antonio wrapping paper would be perfect, so I designed (what is now) the SA Print and posted it on Instagram. People loved it and I was seriously blown away, so I just kept going! Memphis came next, and then chattanooga and Knoxville. They're still all designed First as prints, and then as cards, mugs, dishtowels, blankets, you name it!! #FUNFACTS #MONDAYFACTS
10 DAYS UNTIL COOPER YOUNG!! Aka Midtown Christmas. It's the best day of the year. It's crazy fun. It's crazy, period. I'm planning out my booth and I am SO excited to party all day and see all of my maker friends and see all of YOU little Instagram fairy dinosaurs. I'll have dishtowels, mugs, prints galore, coloring books...it's gonna be so good. If you're in Memphis or if you'll be in town DONT MISS IT!! Who has a booth?? Or who is gonna come shop?? 🙋🏻 for booth and 🛍 for shop!!

My face when someone says, "so- you were an art major?" _____________________ That probably would have been good. Would have made a lot more sense with what I'm doing today. But, nope, I was an Urban Studies major (still pretty related though, right? Cities? Mmmmaybe?) and I taught myself every Adobe design program in the summer before my senior year. _____________________ This on its own isn't super important, but I think it's pretty important to know you don't have to be qualified, of perfect, or 100% ready, to start. I was excited about designing and about creating heartfelt, colorful products that I wanted but couldn't find, and so I needed to teach myself the tools of the trade. _____________________ I remember wanting to start an Etsy shop but I felt like I was so behind already because I wasn't in some amazing design program (or even at a school that offered graphic design) but the reality is that it's 2017, the resources online are unbelievable, and the only thing it's too late for you to do is be an olympic gymnast. Everything else is still on the table. I cried at my computer because i was so frustrated by illustrator in 2015 and now I use it daily for products and commissions. I truly believe it isn't too late to start something you're interested in, and let the rest unfold. It might flop! And that's ok! Or it might be great! And that's great! Orrrr it might flop and THEN be great! Anyway point is, I think you're great and you can do anything except be a gymnast or a giraffe, it's probably too late for that too, but you can do anything. Literally. So start this weekend! Anybody have something like that in mind? 🙋🏻🙋🏻🙋🏻 _____________________ 📷: @annabellacharles
HAPPY 9/01 DAY! Man oh man do I love Memphis. I was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas but came to Memphis to go to Rhodes College and absolutely fell in love with the city. The grit and grind thing got to me, and I started grinding on this business when I was just a lil baby junior in my dorm room, printing out each order on my printer as they came in and hand-addressing each envelope. Since then, I've had an insane number of Memphians who have just LEPT on board and been wildly supportive of everything I'm doing, and I can't imagine starting my business anywhere else. Thanks for adopting me, Memphis ❤️
Still reliving all of the little details of this crazy space!! I've gotten lots of questions about the buildout for the pop up shop (probably 85% for the green couch and green jumpsuit but I HEAR YA) so I'm putting together blog posts this week that will dive into what I did and how I did it! I just posted one alll about the windows- from concept drawings to reality! In case you ever wanted a way-too-in-depth look at WINDOW PAINT, I have GOT YA COVERED. #signetsealedpopup #RIPpopup #imissyoupopup
Oh y'all. I interrupt your Sunday night scrolling to bring you THE sweetest and most beautiful display of meaningful gift-giving 😭😭 gorgeous bride @_kathrynthomas_ reached out to me when she had the idea to gift each bridesmaid a framed city print of their individual hometowns and I LEAPT on board. I'm obsessed with the idea that each one kinda tells the story of where they're from and how/where they crossed paths with her...Is it totally weird to have a framed wedding photo of 10 strangers and 1 Internet friend in my office? This is seriously such a North Star for me- that Kathryn can make them all feel special and celebrated on HER special day, but can find them all in the same place and trust that I've done my research and talked to locals and the prints will feel genuine and local to each girl. The prints also kind of ended up telling the story of Kathryn and James- there were Florida prints, (where they live) and South Carolina prints (where they got married) in the mix, along with Michigan, Colorado, Virginia, Georgia, and North Carolina. Can you even handle this?? I CANT. 😍❤️👰🏻
